The First Word …

January 18th, 2007 | Posted by Shahab in Others | Shahab
This is my first post in this website, after the old website is updated and my old database was not refundable … I have 5 main weblogs that I update them often, but this one is where I usually announce my official statements about myself and my works(like my projects , my photo galleries, etc). I hope you enjoy visiting my website. As an old Iranian tradition, I start the first post of my website by an Irananian(in Persian language) poem which the translation follows as well. This poem is one of my favorites.

Good Trip …
Where are you heading ? Asked thorn from the wind,
I am so bored and sad here. Don’t you like to take a break from here ?
Getting away from the dust of the desert;
Thorn : All my wishes for it, but what to do with the tied feet, but where are you heading ?
Wind : To where ever but not here …
Thorn : Good luck with the trip but for our friendship, for god sake,
When you passed this frightening desert safely,
To blossoms and the rain,
Say Hi for me…Sorry for bad translation, this poem is very famous in Iran and the poet is Master poet, Shafiye Kadkani.
